Connie creates Mardi Gras Costumes every year for a Carnival Krewe in Louisiana. One particular Costume Design of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers is shown in the picture. Most Mardi Gras Costumes are a lot of fun to make and are usually created to go with a theme.
The ladie's Costume Design is of Ginger Rogers. This gown was made of 100% silk covered with an overlay of beaded and sequined lace. The cape was made with 12 Royal Blue Marabou Boas. The Costume Design called for Chandelle Boas to be applied at the hem and the bottom of the sleeves.
The Gentlemen's attire was created with Dark Royal Blue Satin and a beautiful Blue Brocade. His Mardi Gras Costume of Fred Astaire was one of the favorites at the Ball!
